Hello Monday.......goodbye weekend. Welcome daylight savings time. Goodbye eastern standard time. Hello extra hours of daylight in the evenings, goodbye driving to work in the daylight. I love this daylight savings time. I wish we would just leave it this way year round. I can't really see how we save electricity the other way, when it gets dark at 5:30 p.m. Oh well, I guess that is why they pay someone else big bucks to make that decision.
What do you like or dislike about the time change? Does your state even participate in this practice? I hope you all have a great week. Be blessed.

Um, yeah, that post I wrote on Friday? Totally true. My kids have been messed up, and so has Joe. Up at 5am yesterday, couldn't fall asleep last night til after 11p, then up again at 3am this morning.

What is it about that one little hour?

sigh...

I dislike this time change. In the summer it's light out until 10:00 p.m. I would rather have it a little lighter out in the mornings. But...alas...I have no control over it! :)

When the change happens it messes me up for a couple of weeks or so. Eventually my body gets adjusted to the program and then before you know it - wham! you swing back the other way. I don't know that it saves us anything. I think it's mainly just an annoyance.

I love when we're on DST but I really hate the change. My kids don't wanna go to bed and they get up earlier. Bah humbug! I do love the extra daylight at night and that it means Spring and Summer are coming!!

I do like the time change. I live in Idaho where we really should be on Pacific Standard time anyway (long story short the state changed decades ago so farmers would have more light)
SOooooo when June comes it stays light till 10:00 at night here - which is freakin' awesome!
