Uhm YAY or EEEWW.....you decide.
We're all friends here, right?

Have you ever…(?)
co-opted toilet paper from a public washroom as a temporary measure
planned a vacation around your period
avoided white pants for that one 'special' week of the month
done a supplies hand-off with a girlfriend while the dates weren't looking
cautiously tucked the telltale string into your bikini
accidentally pulled a mystery object from your purse in front of a curious male audience
scuttled to the washroom to survey the leak damage after a sudden 'surge'
clogged your toilet with "flushable" feminine products
left a party with a jacket tied around your waist...?

I kid you not. I found this little gem while surfing around the net. It was on the mouthy-housewives website. It is http://www.divacup.com/ I'm not sure what my feelings are about this method. Anyone ever heard of this??? This looks like a little more "hands on" than I am comfortable with. I'm not a tampon gal and I'm not sure I could get used to a glob of silicone poked up my lady bits either. Not judgin', just sayin'.

Although, I could probably save a bundle on stained undergarments, huh?

I know BUNCHES of woman who use them, but my issue is this - you're supposed to rinse it out before re-inserting it... well how in the skee-doodle do I do that at work in the public restroom????? That's what I don't get.

Such a funny post! I had a, er.... problem... last week when my monthly guest showed up (five days late, I might add!). You had me cracking up-- I think I've done ALL those things!

Oh my. I used something similar years ago during my... i'm single and alone stage in life... oh wait... that was most of my life, better explained as the I didn't live in Az part of my life. Anyhow, The concept is great and all... but just WAY too messy and personal for me. Don't get me wrong, i'm a tampon over pad girl any day, but I'll use a pad over OB brand ANYDAY!! just too ick having to handle my lady parts during THAT time of the month... I'd rather cut my fingers off and watch them bleed. uuggghhhh... Now I'm all heebie jeevie here. hahaha!!

really, I popped over to say thanks for the comment on my blog. & Thanks for following. I do know what you mean... and today doing something for US consisted of all 3 of us and it also took spending money we weren't suppose to spend. Luckily it was money we are planning on using for xmas (unexpected unemplyment from YEARS ago that we thought we'd never see), but it would have been better spent on, oh I don't know... groceries and the deoderant I'm out of. But we all make sacrifices right... like not leaving the house again until i buy more... that's a conundrum isn't it? Anyhow, Congrats on the 15 years, some days i wonder how we'll make it to the next, I think we both needed today as a reminder of WHY we like each other and agreed to be together. :) All we did today was pizza by the slice and a kid movie, nothing to toot about, but it was nice. :)

I don't know those type of products anymore, but I now realize there is such a thing as being too green. Ewwww.

Happy SITS Saturday Sharefest!

haha...this is TOO funny. And thankfully the IUD makes monthly time a nonfactor in my life.

I have lots of friends who use these. And I am so slow to change what works that I haven't tried them. But...for Lizzy's issue...they evidently don't need to be emptied that often...so you can wait till you are in the privacy of your own home...

I have read about this product! I too would have a problem shoving silicon up my nether regions - I think the learning curve would be a little longer than the white mouse!

No way!! No how!! I'm shocked to see several of the comments say that they know lots of women that use this. Amen to the person who said there is such thing as going too green!! To each her own. :)
