A Wedding and a funeral......

Good Monday morning all you bloggy friends.

I am glad that a new week is starting. Last week was a rough one for us. I have run the gamut of emotions last week.

Proud of my DH and middle son and daughter for going on mission with our church.

Happy and nostalgic as my only neice got married (it was a redneck venue. Yes, that is a camo wedding gown). She was as beautiful as I have ever seen her. Not such a little girl anymore and it made me happy to see the love she and her husband obviously have for each other.

Then extremely sad the very next day. Had to attend a funeral of one of my cousins-in-law. She was married to one of my cousins and her death was so unexpected.

As you can imagine, this emotional roller coaster has left me exhausted.

As you begin your week, please send up a prayer for comfort for my cousin in the loss of his dear wife. And a prayer for my neice and her husband as they begin their married life together.

Thanks bloggy buddies, I hope you all have a blessed week.

You really have been through the spectrum of emotions this week, my goodness.

I will be praying for them, as you requested.

Hope you have a blessed week, as well.

Where do you even GET a camo-wedding gown? Complete with neon orange striping.. that's awesome!

Just shows you you never know what a day holds - ups & downs... they are constantly coming at you... praying for the family with their loss!

Here's sending the happy young marrieds many prayful blessings upon their union. I will certainly pray for your dear cousin that God gives him comfort, peace and sweet, sweet rest. I can see where you could be emotionally rung out here. God bless you too dear one!

You have yourself a glorious week!!!

Hey Michelle, I'm sorry to hear about your cousin's wife. What happened. How old was she? Did you know Gerald Nesbitt? He was the step-son of Roger Bush that owns Bardin Grocery. He died in a car accident. His funeral is tomorrow.

Gotta say I love the camo dress- it has orange on it! LOL!

Sorry about your cousin's wife. It's hard to lose a family member, no matter the relation, but even more so when it's not something you are prepared for.

Things get better. They always do.

You asked if we have any fav NASCAR drivers. We have a few - we're big Carl Edwards fans. Of course we like Jr and we like some of the older drivers like Mark Martin.

Between our daughter's family and my husband and me - all our dogs are named after drivers. We have Elliott (Elliott Sadler), Smoke (Tony Stewart), Dani (Danica Patrick) and Mikey (Michael Waltrip). Our daughter has Earnhardt and Kasey Kahne.

How 'bout your favs?
