I NEED TO GET A LITTLE PERSONAL HERE......

Recently, I have been staying up quite late (because I love me some Olympics). And more and more I see ads for Colon Cleansing products (I am not promoting or demoting, this pic is just one of the bajillion out there on the net).

What is the deal? Is this really beneficial to your body? Or is this just a laxative with super powers? I must have seen twenty ads for colon cleansing products in one night. Is this the new diet? They claim that it will restore your digestion and make you lose weight. Okay, on the Dr. Oz show, he says if you poop once a day, you're doing pretty good. And as for a weight loss, isn't it kind of dangerous to use any form of laxative (if this is what it is).

So weigh in ladies, let me know what you think. I will not make fun of any answers, I am just trying to get some real information here.

Thanks. Have a great day!!!

Having had to cleanse my colon for a routine colonoscopy several months ago, I can assure you I'd never intentionally of my own accord use this kind of product. Are the manufacturers nuts?????

I've wondered some of the same things! No answers here. Stopping by from SITS and wishing you a happy Thursday!

I've looked a little into this & they say that if you go to the bathroom on a normal basis - that this doesnt do ANYTHING for you... only aggravates your system. That a diet high in fiber is better for you then this... I cant imagine wanting to do a colon cleanse on purpose, unless it was for a medical procedure... yuck!

Yep, ditto to Rebecca Jo.

High fiber diet, daily dose of coffee, and you'll be ready to go...to the bathroom, that is.

People are always looking for the quick fix, and quick fixes sell, even if they don't work.

I think the colon is a self-cleansing organ. And if it isn't, I suspect a medical professional is called for.

Okay- actually the colon cleansing does do something. Not everything leaves the intestines when we go, even if you go everyday.
So sometimes people feel bloated and gassy and get tummy aches because the stuff built up along the way needs to go. Poor water intake, lack of fiber, high sugar, carbs and/or dairy can do this to your digestive tract.
Also if you have gall bladder issues this type of product may help clear the sludge out which may reduce the need to surgery.
Ok- done being Nurse Dawn... for now anyway!

good afternoon bros. I'm actually into shoes and I was searching for that particular brand. The prices as regards the boots were approximately 320 pounds everwhere. But definitively I base this site selling them for half price. I exceptionally like these prada sneakers. I will absolutely buy those. what is your opinion?

Yeah, this seems odd to me. Losing weight through a product like this sounds dangerous. I think a change of diet is much better than spending money on pills.

Don't do it, you can do better naturally. On my wellness blog I posted something awhile back on natural cleansing. Check it out before wasting your money. :)

I've done a few colon cleanses! I feel REALLy good when I do them...but trust me when I say stay close to bathrooms. It could come on whereever and whenever...so that's tricky. lol I think it really just flushes you out!

I wouldn't use it. Maybe it's on late at night for people who are up and constipated.

Thank you sooo much for visiting on my SITs day and making me feel special.

Thanks for reminding me to eat some fiber today.
