It's the most wonderful time of the year!!!!!!!
You guessed it, school is officially open. I got my dear little ones off to school this morning with no crying and no fussing. If you can believe it, I was in a traffic jam in our little one light town.
This town is soooooooo about its kids and their schools. This morning three deputy sheriffs escorted the entire senior class of about 400 kids from a private residence where they had the Senior breakfast to the high school (four miles from here). I thought that was great. Let's get em out there for everyone to see and pump up. It surely made them feel special and I think it was great.
Also, my little cousin had me a pretty little baby boy yesterday. I say little, she says "Little my foot". He was 8 lbs 12 oz. 22 inches long and is the most beautiful thing I've seen since my grand neice was born last year.
I can hardly wait for her to bring him to see me. I love to smell his little ole head and count his toes and play piggy.
Oh well, I hope everyone has a great day.

I love that new baby smell. Nothing like it.
Wednesday is fast approaching and I can't wait. Let's just pray that Faye stays at bay....I'm such a great poet, huh? Snort, snort.
I love you, Shell....
Yeah, day one was a success for all three of my children. Of course, Chris didn't really care for one of his teachers and just the little I know about her (when I met her in the hallway last Thurs.) I have to wonder if she is always having a bad day or what....Anyhoo.....I've already been supply shopping and now they come home with more lists....I'm gonna need to take out a 2nd mortgage just to get all the supplies.
