Sometimes I am exhausted by the drama and the drain, but I know the this is where God intends me to be. How I would love a quiet week all by myself though:)
You will make it through and it will all be history in a few short hours.Gramma 2 Manyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16973534029927632805noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6409274737104902692.post-67068633569404775902010-07-18T23:12:11.444-04:002010-07-18T23:12:11.444-04:00I'm alone this week, too. Which is all good things, but it leaves me home alone with the child and all of our housely responsibilities. Mostly, I'm just anxious about sleeping alone. Every new creak takes on new meaning when I am alone in the house at night. Praying that the time passes swiftly for both of us!CaraBeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04614627167922944626noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6409274737104902692.post-72995504511538173812010-07-18T21:10:15.559-04:002010-07-18T21:10:15.559-04:00Granny, from your lips to God's ears about the...Granny, from your lips to God's ears about the time going swiftly. Thanks for the support. It does help knowing that I'm not the only one that faces this problem. In fact, I cannot even imagine what military wives must go through. I don't think being married to them would be fun at all.Shelleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12752658464447522549noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6409274737104902692.post-60450115161520443122010-07-18T21:08:58.546-04:002010-07-18T21:08:58.546-04:00Cherie, I am exhausted already just anticipating t...Cherie, I am exhausted already just anticipating the battles that I am gonna have to fight with my kids while he is gone. I think I dread that more than anything else.
That chocolate milkshake idea sounds good. Unfortunately for me, I already look like I had a million of them to cope. LOL, so I guess one more pound isn't gonna hurt....
Thanks for the moral support.Shelleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12752658464447522549noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6409274737104902692.post-47393913199019723372010-07-18T20:12:29.615-04:002010-07-18T20:12:29.615-04:00I used to work for some drilling engineers and the...I used to work for some drilling engineers and they were gone a lot. I told a few of them how much they should appreciate their wives because God knows that would never fly with me. And I know I can't be alone in that thought.

My husband is the "go to" person for his family. None of them mind a bit calling him to drive an hour and a half to do some tiny little thing for them. Or even pick something up, bring it home, fix it and take it back to them. But it's his family and his time and I'm only his wife. (Said with sarcasm.) It would be interesting to see how things played out if the tables were turned.

My thoughts are with you. I hope the time goes by fast!Oklahoma Grannyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10053304659210754009noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6409274737104902692.post-24389377758780539522010-07-18T18:51:27.237-04:002010-07-18T18:51:27.237-04:00My husband was gone this past week for 5 days and ...My husband was gone this past week for 5 days and it is always just more tiring and more to do when the hubby is gone.
I've decided a large chocolate milkshake really helps!CBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16911579093553356167noreply@blogger.com
